"She has an excellent sense of composition as well as another important component: mood. She can take a seemingly simple scene, her mother drinking a cup of coffee and reading the newspaper, and turn it into a serene moment with all the attributes of a beautifully constructed painting. In addition, she is an exquisite printer. Portraits, so far, are her strong point, but I like the she tries other things, too, such as the photos of Seinfeld from the TV. My hope is the Avril will forget that this is a school subject and start shooting like crazy this spring ... I would say that she is well on her way to becoming an excellent photographer. Keep it up!"
